The Counseling Services and Career Department in Youngstown State University will now be hosting this job expo this upcoming Wednesday. This expo will entirely be held from 10am until 2pm in Chestnut Room in Kilcawley Center. These events are quite free and will be open for the YSU learners and to its alumni. As of now, this expo are entirely been designed towards promoting networking among learners, employers and to those alumni who will be seeking employment. According to the coordinator of this Counseling and Career Services that both alumni and their learners will now able of meeting on with this over 50 employers in regards to their employment, for internship opportunities and upon collecting resumes. Waring had explained that some of their mere advantages intended for this alumni and learners upon joining on this event. Waring stated that this expo had centralized the event where in the alumni and its learners will be meeting on with their respective group of employers without even leaving their school campuses. Networking considered as a huge support upon learning employment chances that currently being hired for. Meanwhile the marketing director of King, Hill and Barth also a gold sponsor of this job expo have indicated in regards to the aspects that companies been looking.

Gallagher stated that his looking forward to an entry level of accountants, well talented and those intern candidates. Gallagher have also provided career advice for those individuals that been looking for employment or any internship opportunities. He also added that this will be considered as something that been carried upon through their entire career upon maintaining professionalism. Since, these pre-expo workshops will now be held on this 9am in Jones Room of Kilcawley Center and the director of this Counseling and Career Services will entirely be conducting this event. This Career Planning Center was entirely been brought by this David De Fusco who is the member of this class of ’86 and the Director of this Communications of Yale School of this Forestry and Environmental Studies and some other 34 alumni that will entirely represent majors of variety in order to pass on the knowledge towards their students upon joining this program. The Major Decision was entirely been created in order to provide learners with some wealth towards information in regards to their various careers even if its not anymore related to their student’s major. Several of these alumni present entirely includes DeFusco that did not even know what they wanted of going to do towards their futures while joining upon this Fairfield. According to this DeFusco he did not have some direction while still in their college education. Since, he went on saying that his father will be advising him towards getting a major finance due to the mere fact that it was already been booming for career choices on its same time but it was already been after he graduated that he would be finally found its passion.

DeFusco encourages not hesitating of talking to people who already have some career advice options upon taking on their own lives experiences that might change on the direction of their lives. With that, he already added that being an alumnus he can be able to share learners some knowledge that he already been learned during its 23 years of working experiences whether working on people or if ever its okay changing their career path even after college learning. Even though he is already English major that concentrate towards journalism Ferrer continually kept on its options open during the time talking on with its alumni. Ferrer who is now quite interested of pursuing its career learning. It already happened that their lawyer have some majors in their English subject. According to Ferrer that he already told him on how they should be preparing them for law schools with its major. Since, seeing someone who already succeeded provides them something to continually keep on the back of its mind for motivational aspects.

As a result, students not only had some opportunity of meeting their alumni during this educational programs but they could entirely practice networking and even seeing it on the firsthand that will entirely valuing the impact of its Fairfield educational learning. According to Susanne M.Quinlivan who is the Associate Director of this Career Planning that they have hop of developing their student’s confidence upon valuing their Fairfield education and entire opportunities that it presents. Quinlivan stated that these alumni may even offering personal stories upon selecting on their majors. With that, Ferrer have found some support towards this statement during its discussion with its lawyer alumnus during the time he provide Ferrer an advice upon the addition of this Spanish minor. Ferrer stated that he already been fully endorse after been saying he wishes he gone after its same minor. In which, its quite pretty much sets on its stone that will be adding it. Quinlivan stated that along this various chances that been presented towards such event. Quinlivan stated that they are hoping of recognizing that opportunity of connecting them due to the mere fact of sharing their experiences of joining this Fairfield University.
